Dear All,
This is a point well taken. Despite similar initials, Design Philosophy
Papers is a far different journal to Design Principles and Practices.
Design Philosophy Papers is noted for well conceived thematic issues,
vigorous writing, and a solid, responsible editorial team of serious
scholars that are deeply engaged in our field.
The field recognizes Design Philosophy Papers as a well established and
highly ranked journal. The preliminary Design Research Journal Study that we
conducted last year shows DPP (the original) ranked at 12 among all journals
in our field.
If you have not yet had a look at Design Philosophy Papers, you should.
