To change your hosting to Google you need to be able to make some DNS
amendments. You need to create a CNAME entry to verify your ownership
of the domain (although there is another way to do this I haven't
tried), you need to set up MX records to get the mail flowing to
Google, and another CNAME entry to get your www traffic to go to
Google.
It is all dead easy with 123-reg - and Google gives specific step by
step details of how to do it - but I have no experience of Microsoft
Office Live so I can't say.
