This is a reminder about the call for papers and registration link for the
Blackboard eLearning Conference 12-14th April which is being hosted here
at
Swansea University.

For those of you who don't know this is the first of the new annual
conferences
that take the place of what used to be BB World Europe.

This is, as far as I am aware, one of the first times that Blackboard will have
run such an event at a UK university venue and definitely the first time in
Wales. Swansea may not sound such a glamorous location as some previous
ones but
the University is located directly facing the beach and we can assure you that
there will be a very warm welcome - even if we cannot guarantee the weather!

A significant feature this year is that Blackboard have agreed to offer all
delegates a free training event as part of the conference
programme

There is lots of information about the conference including travel and
accommodation on the website

http://www.blackboard.com/swansea2010
but if anyone wants to ask me anything informally please do get in touch and I
will be more than happy to try and help.

As always the strength of these events lie in presentations by colleagues and
the networking opportunity provided - I do hope that you will consider
submitting a paper and of course that you will be joining us at the conference
this year.
