Ph.D. Research Fellowships (University Assistant, prae doc)
at the Department of Statistics and Decision Support Systems
(Faculty of Business, Economics and Statistics).

The positions are meant to support young scientists through their Ph.D. research. Employment (30 hrs/week) is based on 3-year renewable contracts.
Areas of work: The successful applicants will enter the department's Ph.D. program and are expected to work on model selection, model averaging, the design of techniques for dealing with high-dimensional data, or similar statistical methods.
Profile: A Master's or comparable degree in statistics, mathematics, or a closely related discipline (completed or pending completion); a solid background in statistics and probability theory; and promising potential for original research.
