We are seeking to appoint an experienced Medical Statistician to support Research and Innovation activities.
You will work under the supervision of the Head of the Biostatistics Unit to provide advice and statistical analyses to enhance the quality of research projects across all departments in the Trust. Besides support activities, you will be expected to develop collaborative research. There will be opportunities to develop your training skills and provide training to others
You will hold a degree in statistics or a related subject and have acquired additional specialist statistical knowledge through postgraduate qualification or equivalent experience.
You should have substantial experience in a medical statistician role, including working with clinicians and giving statistical advice on the design and analysis of research studies.
For appropriate candidates, an honorary appointment is available in the University of Manchester Biostatistics Group, with which there are close links.
The role would be suitable for a full time appointment, but applications are also invited from part time candidates.
