NEW POST: Statistician (Full time, fixed term for three and a half years, until Sept 2013)
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic research fellow to work with a multi-disciplinary group of researchers in health and social care sciences.
The successful applicant will build expertise in statistics and quantitative research methodologies and help secure external research funding, primarily from the National Institute of Healthcare Research.
The post holder will provide statistical input and methodological advice to researchers conducting a variety of health and social care research projects.
The successful applicant will be part of a team of advisors and researchers at the Centre of Health Services Studies (CHSS). This appointment will be an appointment with the NIHR Research Design South East and the CHSS South East Clinical Trials and Survey Unit.

Successful applicants will have post-graduate qualifications in statistics, or a closely related discipline, an excellent knowledge of advanced statistical methods for health and social care research plus an
interest in current issues in health and social care.
Salary: £36,532 to £43,622 per annum.
