Sorry-totally missed that you did not have an SPM.mat file. There is a manual for MarsBar available from the MarsBar website. Looking over it quickly, seems you can import bitmaps (sounds like that's what you have- ROI defined by number label) and export in format readable by MRIcro (which I'm assuming would include the header that you are missing).
