Prof. Jamie Rossjohn, ARC Federation Fellow, seeks a Research Fellow or
Research Assistant to join his research group working on NKT-cell
recognition of glycolipid antigens. The position is available immediately
for a period of 1 year in the first instance.
Research Fellow applicants should have a PhD in Life Sciences and a
background in Protein Crystallography and Biophysical Techniques. A proven
track record in molecular biology, protein production and purification,
crystallographic techniques and synchrotron experience would be a distinct
advantage. A successful publication record would also be highly regarded.
The Research Assistant position requires the candidate to have a Bachelor of
Science Degree with Honours, experience with molecular biology methods,
protein purification and Insect Tissue Culture Methods. The candidate should
have general scientific laboratory skills, have experience in collecting
data, have the ability to work autonomously and within a group. The person
should have good communication, organisational and time management skills

standards for each level.
