For the rest... the more I hear of this stuff, the more I... I don't
know... I just feel deeply depressed. I was reminded earlier of my big
feature on Alaric Sumner in Masthead 5 or 6 years ago; and I have been
thinking on Alaric and the many horrible things that were done to him
