Dear all,
The International Detention Coalition and La Trobe University are
conducting research to identify and describe examples of community-based
reception and alternatives to immigration detention for refugees, asylum
seekers and migrants.
Please contribute to the research by completing an 8 minute online
survey found at:
http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=cUs6nk0Otw3j1LYofGYQMQ_3d_3d
Please copy and paste this link into your web browser to access the survey.
This short survey asks you to complete a tick-box checklist to identify
existing community-based alternatives to detention in your country. It
also asks you to provide a short description of the best example of
community-based reception and alternatives to detention currently at use
in your country.
This survey will form the basis of further field work research in early
2010 to develop a guidebook on community-based alternatives.
