Does the order of the description of the FB connection matter in the
model specification?
The situation: we assume that nodes A and B are reciprocally (FB)
connected and we want to compare two models depending on where the input C
acts. It is not clear if A->B is F or B. Therefore, when specifying the
connections of the models it is not clear how the A->B or B->A should be
put in the model. According to the generative model the F and B
connections are different (both in the physiological and consequently
mathematical models). However one would not care about directionality of
the A<->B (when it is not in the focus of the study) as it is bidirectional
and the connections are terminal.
Could someone please help clarifying this moment in model specification.
Thanks,
