Last Saturday's Collaborative Action Research Network study day, in the 'Centre for
research and teaching for the child, family and community' at Liverpool Hope University,
ended with a pooling of energy and understandings and a shared interest in working out
how to sustain our conversations and the sharing of our research interests. You can
access our individual interests at:

Sonia has already created a 'spanglefish' website at
http://spanglefish.com/soniahutchison/ since last Saturday and begins with her question
‘How can I improve my practice as a Chief Executive?’ as she moves into her new position
with Adult Carers. I do like this approach to sharing our explanations of influence and
Marie has a well developed site at http://www.spanglefish.com/mariessite/ .
The deadline for the keynote symposia competition for the 2010 BERA from the 1-4
September 2010 at Warwick is the 8th Jan and for normal submissions the 22nd Jan.

You can access the successful proposal and contributions to the 2009 BERA conference

Explicating A New Epistemology For Educational Knowledge With Educational
Responsibility

I'm hopeful that we'll be able to submit proposals for the 2010 conference involving more
of us and showing our contributions to this epistemological transformation in what counts
as educational knowledge. Do say if you'd like to be involved in developing a proposal for
either a keynote symposium or contributions for the normal programme.
Alan's contribution to Research Intelligence on inclusionality should be appearing in the
next issue of Research Intelligence and the Open Dialogue forum in RI is a space we could
keep alive with our contributions.
Love Jack.
