Dear list,
Do you know Pérez de Perceval, López-Morell and Sánchez Rodríguez (eds.) (2006), Minería y desarrollo económico en España, Editorial Síntesis, Madrid?
It probably is the most comprenhensive and up-to-date examination of mining contribution to modern economic growth in Spain from sixteenth to twentieth centuries. Being a contributor to the volume, my opinion might be biased. Notwithstanding, I find it worth being read. Some attention is paid to Río Tinto. Enjoy!
