The VisuoSonic Research Project hosted by the Faculty of Arts Media and
Society at Southampton Solent University is seeking a media artist working in
the area of visual imagery activated by sound and motion.
The research aim is to enhance the VisuoSonic project by the addition of
Max/MSP/Jitter technology. The candidate should be a media artist who is
expert in the use of Max/MSP/Jitter and is producing creative media art using
this technology. We are particularly interested in practitioners who can
envisage integration between Max/MSP and Adobe Director.
This appointment will be for a negotiated fixed time period and will attract a
flat fee of £2500. An extension may be possible if applications for additional
external funding are successful.
