Dear All,
JISC Digital Media have some places remaining on three workshops running in
November.
Due to popular demand we have scheduled another day of the ever popular
Copyright and Digital Images
http://www.jiscdigitalmedia.ac.uk/training/courses/copyright-and-digital-
images/ on the 9th November. This course looks in depth at how copyright
and other legal issues impact upon digital images and it will enable you to
make informed decisions and develop practical approaches to clearing and
managing those rights within your own collection.
On the 10th November we are running “Audio Production - Recording Lectures,
Seminars, Interviews and Podcasts”. This course offers an in-depth and
hands-on introduction to creating and enhancing audio resources, from
production and editing techniques to delivering and managing audio
resources. Further information can be found here:

lectures-seminars-interviews-podcasts/
If you or your organisation need to understand how best to convert your
video resources into a digital format then the “Digitising Analogue Video
Recordings” workshop running on Thursday 12th November will be ideal.
Through practical activities, supported with essential information about
digitising video, you will explore how to digitise materials to archival standards
helping you to both safeguard collections and make them more widely
accessible and useful to your potential audiences.
