Hi Paula
My first response, so ditto ;-)
Are you using SHERPA-RoMEO to determine publisher's conditions? The process we are embedding in CSIRO is to check SHERPA-RoMEO for conditions. In the only case of a Wiley journal that I have handled, I discovered that conditions vary for journals by this publisher and it was necessary to check the Copyright Transfer Agreement of the individual journal (Journal of Field Robotics); following those instructions, I then needed to append a legend to the actual document that was to be made available (I used Adobe Acrobat Pro to do this, but it can be done using Adobe Acrobat Standard).
My belief (read: assumption??) is that if I check SHERPA-RoMEO and follow instructions where the publisher is included on that site, I shouldn't need to contact individual publishers as well? Please correct me if this is not the case, folks, as we are just getting started in this.
Greetings from Newcastle, Down Under, expecting mid 30's (Celsius) and higher for the next few days.
Regards
Anne

Subject: Wiley Blackwell
Hello all,
[First message to list - please be kind!]
I'm working my way through some author's papers here at Newcastle, many of
which are published by Wiley-Blackwell. Up to now I have been seeking
permission for each individual paper, assuming they would allow author final ver
to be loaded, not pub ver.
I haven't had a reply as yet to any I have sent - just an automated response
signalling a delay of up to 30 days.
Searhing the jisc-repositories list archive I see there has been lots of
discussion - but any answer? I'm wondering if it is really worth asking for each
of these if they are just to be refused. How is everybody else coping with
Wiley-Blackwell?
With many thanks in advance
