Generics client has an immediate requirement for an LLPG Custodian to work
from its clients offices in the East Midlands on a contract to permanent basis.
Overall Purpose of the Post:
To develop, maintain, and provide the corporate address management service,
to BS7666 compliance in the form of the Local Land and Property Gazetteer
(LLPG). To ensure it integrates with other key systems. The role will also be
the Corporate Lead for the GIS system.
The duties will involve:
Develop and maintain corporate GIS facilities.
Define and maintain the clients strategy for the development and
deployment of the clients Local Land and Property Gazetteer
Setup, support and maintenance of integration of the LLPG as a common
address link to other client applications e.g. GIS, Revenues & Benefits.
To become the clients LLPG custodian and represent the client on matters
regarding LLPG management and maintenance.
Responsible for the production and transfer of data to the (National Land
and Property Gazetteer) NLPG hub.
Act as the Street Naming & Numbering Officer with the clients function with
regard to street naming and numbering, which may include undertaking site
visits'
Ensure that the clients statutory Street Naming and Numbering function is
fully integrated with the maintenance procedure for the LLPG'.
Provision of reports to members and other users of the service and promote
high standards with consistency in their preparation and presentation.
Liaise with other departments on the integration of the LLPG with their
systems providing specialist support and advice to users and service areas.
Promote the LLPG as the clients core property database.
Highly sought applicants MUST possess the following skills:
Mapinfo GIS
Previously LLPG/ NLPG experience in a Custodian or Managerial capacity
Northgate SX3 experience (or similar system)
