Aim: The aim of this one day workshop is to develop the techniques for writing reports
that communicate clearly, concisely and persuasively.

The day covers a range of report writing skills, from the style and tone of the language
used in the writing through to organising the material into a readable and coherent
structure. It will also look at the key methods for checking the final draft and making
sure that the copy is as effective as possible.The day includes a number of activities and
delegates receive a 50+ page manual of useful reference material.

 * Writing specialist documents 
 * The report writing process 
 * Writing persuasive proposals 
 * The final draft of the report 

Who should attend?
It is aimed at anyone who has to produce longer documents with material that needs to be
clearly structured. The skills developed are appropriate for writers of reports, proposals
and training manuals.

Aim: Twenty years ago using PowerPoint in a presentation immediately captured an
audience’s attention - however today it is as likely to send an audience to sleep. This
course will focus on how to use PowerPoint to support your presentation and to create the
maximum impact.

 * the role of visual aids in presentations 
 * how to choose the right visual aid 
 * ways to keep an audience’s attention by stimulating multiple intelligences 
 * using PowerPoint to support your presentation to ensure maximum impact

The course is aimed at people who are already familiar with planning, structuring and
preparing presentations and who feel they would benefit from some further development in
ways to increase their impact.

The aim of this one day workshop is to help participants to develop and deliver training
sessions for large groups of people.  The course will focus on ways to use interactive
methods with large groups and explore how to manage the group dynamics

Course Content:
 * The characteristics of large groups 
 * Understanding and stimulating multiple intelligences 
 * Using interactive activities with more than 20 people 
 * Dealing with group behaviour 
 * Handling unexpected events

This session is aimed at people who have done core presentation skills training and now
want to develop their training further by introducing more participation in their
sessions.
