Hi all,
I have been asked to find out about the costs of buying one or two digitial
microscopes, to have in the education/community room at a large heritage
site. I have visited a few sites now to try out various microscopes and I
wondered if any of this group might be able to tell me a little about their digital
microscopes (if you have one!).
We are anticipating that they will be used in archaeology education sessions,
for KS2 and KS3, as well as being made available to adult learning groups (i.e.
ceramics anaylsis), but I would love to hear what you are using your
microscopes for; or indeed whether you think they are worth the money (v.
expensive as far as I can tell!).
It'd be great to know what brand/make your microscopes are, what you use
them for, and of course what you think of them!
Perhaps if you respond off-list and I will compile responses together to be
made available to any group members that are interested?
Thanks ever so much,
Nicole
