Hi,
I recently had exactly the same issue and Dave Flitney suggested
the following which worked fine for me:
rm ~/Library/Preferences/uk.fmrib.ox.ac.fslview.plist
After this fslview starts in a default position again.
I think you *could* modify this file to get the initial size
and placement set, but it wouldn't be that easy as it is a
binary file.
If the above doesn't work you may need to try:
rm ~/.qt/fslviewrc
although I found that I didn't have this file.
