Ad-hoc visits to Asylum seekers in Calais.
Between now and Christmas I will be making a number of visits to Calais
to distribute information material to Asylum seekers about the Asylum
process in the UK, and distributing some simple practical items such as
small gaz heaters, blankets etc…
This is a very informal initiative and is really about making sure the
Asylum seekers have the latest information about the processes in the UK
and to hand over a few useful items to new arrivals in Calais. However
with the dismantling of the “Jungle” there is a greater need than usual
for blankets, groundsheets and warm clothes, so if there is anyone
willing to drive a car over to Calais at their own expense with useful
items they have collected themselves then please let me know.
Best regards
John
