Dear All,
Brian Mattinson's continuing masterwork on settings of Kipling's verse
is an indispensable source of information. However, when I am asked to
find copies of the settings, the Society Library sometimes falls a
little short. Also, Brian sometimes offers alternate tunes as those
"possibly in Kipling's mind".
With recent requests in my mind, may I ask if any list members can
offer a photocopy of music for the following?:
“The Absent-Minded Beggar”
“The Anvil”
“Mandalay”
“Tommy”
“Boots”
“Eddi’s Service”
“My Boy Jack”
“Recessional”
“A Smuggler’s Song”
“Sussex”
“The Way Through the Woods”
“Merrow Down”
“The Glory of the Garden”
“The Sons of the Suburbs”
All performing rights and copyright formalities will be observed.
With thanks in anticipation,
John
