Hi,
I don't know if this is a bug , or it can be solved in some other way.
In the
:https://twiki.cern.ch/twiki/pub/LCG/WLCGCommonComputingReadinessChallenges/WLCG_GlueSchemaUsage-1.8.pdf
at page 32 is written:
"The Glue Storage Area (SA) [...]
Here follows a detailed list of the relevant attributes
LocalID MUST be published. It is a string that identifies this specific
Storage Area within the SE.
GLUE does not impose any format. The LocalID MAY encode internal
information about the
space but clients MUST NOT rely on this. The Local ID SHOULD NOT match
the name of the VO using this SA.
"
but for SEs that are publishing GlueSALocalID's different than the
VO-name enabled to use it - the lcg_utils tools gives the following
errors:
# lcg-cr -v -d storm-fe-virgo.cr.cnaf.infn.it -l
/grid/virgo/collaalb/prova2 file:/scratch/prova2
Using grid catalog type: lfc
Using grid catalog : lfcserver.cnaf.infn.it
Checksum type: None
[BDII][][] egee-bdii.cnaf.infn.it:2170: No GlueSA information found
about VO virgo and SE storm-fe-virgo.cr.cnaf.infn.it
lcg_cr: Invalid argument
The command works only if the user is an experienced one and was able to
find out the complete path to use:
# lcg-cr --vo virgo -n 10 -T srmv2 -v -d
srm://storm-fe-virgo.cr.cnaf.infn.it:8444/srm/managerv2?SFN=/virgo3/scratch/testt.txt
-l lfn:/grid/virgo/test/testtt.txt file:///home/VIRGO/test/test.txt
<file:///home/VIRGO/karen/test.txt>
This because the storm-fe-virgo.cr.cnaf.infn.it has 2 StorageAreas
"named" (having the GlueSALocalID) virgo3, virgo4:
# ldapsearch -LLL -h egee-bdii.cnaf.infn.it -p 2170 -b
"mds-vo-name=local,o=grid" -x "GlueSAAccessControlBaseRule=virgo"
GlueSALocalID |grep storm-fe-virgo

#lcg-infosites --vo virgo --is egee-bdii.cnaf.infn.it se |grep cnaf

4494779744 11261720920 n.a storm-fe-virgo.cr.cnaf.infn.it
So my question - is this a normal/desired behavior of the lcg_utils?
It doesn't seem it follows the requirements I mentioned above.
Thank you,
Cristina
