It could be that the Spanish authorities regard it as natural for
Brits to use cocaine.
I think the main question for our hypothetical tourist would be
whether he finds himself killed by the deliberate act or negligence of
a third party.
From the public health point of view of discouraging cocaine use, it
would be unhelpful if the fact that a well-known star had died of an
overdose was hushed up.
But like everyone on this list, I don't know why Mr Gately died.
