Feat provides the option to run Pre-Stats, Stats and Post-stats
separately. However I don't understand how to run a single analysis
in parts.
To illustrate, I'm trying to use the Freesurfer surface based
smoothing in place of the standard volume based smoothing as part of
my analysis pipeline. To keep things easy I'd like to
1. run FEAT Pre-Stats with no smoothing (0mm)
2. smooth filtered-func with the FS surface smoother
3. continue the FEAT analysis and run Stats and Post-Stats
I can do this successfully (and very awkwardly) from the command line
but I'd like to use the FEAT gui to start and then resume the
analysis. It looks like I should be able to do this, but I can't
figure out how (FEAT just seems to create a new directory and a new
filtered-func when I run Stats+Post-Stats). Any pointers?
(And as an aside, is there any problem with the sequence above?
Should I maybe smooth before doing the Pre-stats?)
