Andy misses my point. The issue of genuine dyslexia is not in doubt, and the
problems and enlightenment he offers are equally 'givens'. My point was, and
remains, that dyslexia is used by both readers and non-dyslexic perpetrators
to 'justify' the lack of self-discipline.
In the context of the discussion about correct spelling and reasonable
grammar the question of dyslexia is essentially a red herring in the same way
that it is unreasonable to expect others suffering other disabilities to function
or operate in the same way as those who do not endure the same disabilities.
