NW REGIONAL DIGITISATION WORKSHOP DISCUSSION
Greater Manchester County Record Office
Thursday 26 November 2009 from 1.00pm
The aim of the workshop is to promote discussion about the feasibility of
possible inter-office co-operation on projects to digitise key records series.
There will be input from two of the main organisations offering partnering
arrangement on such projects, and from the National Archives. The meeting is
being organised by the NW Region of the Society of Archivists and the NW
Regional Archive Council.

1.45 Caroline Kimbell, Head of Licensing at TNA - TNA’s experience of
large-scale digitisation projects with commercial partners – lessons learnt, and

3.15 Discussion about possible co-operation regionally and nationally.
