Just do within subject coregistration of all the T1 and PET images -
without any reslicing.
Then segment the T1 and generate the "imported" rc1 and rc2 images.
Use the rc1 and rc2 images to estimate flow fields (u_*) and a template
(Template_6.nii).
Then use the normalise to MNI space option, with the flow fields and PET
scans, to generate spatially normalised and smoothed versions of your
PET data.
