Hello,
I have problems coregistering the functional scans to the anatomical
scans; and afterwards normalizing the functional scans. This probably
has something to do with the fact that we do not scan the top (small) part of the head (since we are more interested in the temporal lobe). When checking the anatomical features of the coregistered functional and anatomical scans by means of 'check reg' the functional scans seem to have shifted up and backwards in the coregistration. After normalization, anatomical features like the
corpus callosum or superior cistern do not correspond in the anatomical and functional scans (functional scans are higher). Normalization is performed by means of features from the segmentation step in which white, csf and grey matter are segmented.
Does anyone know how to coregister and normalize if the functional data
is incomplete (top part missing)? Thanks in advance!
