Our hospital (Gloucestershire) is using a vapour cleaning system:
Newspaper extract:
"Hospital to vapourise superbugs
Infection chiefs at the Trust have invested in a pioneering treatment to
ensure that wards are free of superbugs. New vapour decontamination
cleaning treatment uses Hydrogen peroxide to tackle bugs such as MRSA
and C Diff. A chemical vapour is pumped into an empty ward for 24 hours.
Gloucestershire Echo, 21.11.07, page 15"
If I get time I will try and find the internal brief,
But if you are interested try giving our IC team a call.

Subject: [OCC-HEALTH] Air systems that 'sterilise' the area?
Has anyone seem this?
I think it makes a couple of very worrying claims & haven't seem any
research but I have been asked to comment. Input from anyone with an
infection control head on their shoulders would be of much interest.
