Something similar is true in the case of Michael Jackson, where -
quite apart from anything else people have done or said - his
brother is reported[[1]] to have said, "I'm totally against the
idea of a public cemetery. He's done so much to make the world
special and he needs to be somewhere special. He should be
somewhere where it's safe and where he isn't sharing the ground
with other people who are not good human beings. At those places
they bury people who have done bad things in their life. Why
should he be in the company of these bad people?" And continuing
from the theme of football allegiances that I mentioned, various
clubs in various places over funeral arrangements of various
kinds, up to and including coffins adorned with club colours and
emblems.
