Hi Julian
We are using CALM for the museum service, the local studies library and archive.
For internal use its fine, but the public don't have access to it. We have a static site Research Croydon<http://www.dswebhosting.info/Croydon/search.htm> but are looking to export all of our records into a CMS and host them on Museum of Croydon.com<http://www.museumofcroydon.com/>

Subject: Examples of an integrated approach to cataloguing a collection of archive, library and museum material
I am requesting examples of institutions which have successfully
integrated the documentation of, and access to collections of archives,
library and museum material.
These would be used to help inform a review that I am undertaking for a
small museum to look at options for collections management systems. The
museum comprises a single collection of material from the three domains,
plus a separate working library. So examples of small to medium size
institutions would be especially relevant.
I will also be looking at an overarching approach such as that referred
to in the 'BSI Publicly Available Specification 197:2009, Code of
Practice for Cultural Collections Management' -
http://openculture.collectionstrustblogs.org.uk/2009/03/05/code-of-practice-for-cultural-collections-management/
and explored in the Collections Trust publication 'Collections
Management: a practical guide.
Thanks
