UCL's recently digitised archives are the world's most comprehensive body of
research material relating to Orwell, and the university is regarded as the
international centre for studies on the author.
On 4 & 5 November, UCL is hosting the first staged reading of George Orwell' s
Burmese Days by Aya Theatre. All details about the event can be found at

In creating this enlivening new adaptation, Aya Theatre has undertaken
extensive research of UCL's George Orwell archives.
On 4 November Paul Ayris, Director of UCL Library Services, will be introducing
this event and setting it within the context of UCL's Special Collections.

minute question and answer session with the cast)
