Dear All
MLA are offering two fully funded places for the next Clore short
course in March 2010. They are particularly keen to encourage
applications from archivists, conservators, records managers (or anyone
working in archives with 5 years work experience and management or
leadership responsibilities) and librarians for this intake so please
contact your regional MLA field team to discuss this opportunity.
The short courses are 2 week residential programmes and also provide
mentors for participants. The courses are excellent in their own right
but are also worth trying out as a taster for the year or two year
long fellowship that the Clore Leadership Programme also run.
Feel free to contact me with any queries about the experience. Fiona
and Alisha in the Clore Office are the best people to talk to about
everything else - especially technical things! See
www.cloreleadership.org for contact and more details about all the
programmes.
(Below is info from MLA about the funding and the programme)
All the best
Sam
