Subject: Aesthesis//CREATE - NEW DEADLINE!!!
Dear All
NEW DEADLINE - 30th APRIL 2008 !!!
As a result of a number of requests and in order to allow as many proposals as possible we have agreed to accept submissions to Aesthesis//CREATE up until 30th April 2008. This will be our final deadline.
As you are probably already aware, The Aesthesis Project and Arts and Business have launched a new venture, Aesthesis//CREATE and are looking to support new ideas, designs or schemes that can use art/aesthetics to change our understanding of work and organizational life.
Our traditional appreciation of work and organizations is much too restrictive and we believe that through art and aesthetics we can broaden these understandings.
For example -
Could your idea make the experience of work more pleasurable - perhaps visually, or through sound, or perhaps in terms of taste?
Perhaps your idea might improve the design, role or purpose of organizations - whether they be a school, cinema, bank, charity etc.
Or perhaps you have a completely different idea? If so, please submit - we really want to see as many novel ideas as possible.
Selected ideas will receive support for their development and be showcased in an extensive global tour
If you don't wish to submit, perhaps you know someone who might? Please pass this on ... this is a fantastic opportunity for the chosen projects.
For further information and details of how to submit, please see our website: www.essex.ac.uk/aesthesis <https://exchange3.essex.ac.uk/exchweb/bin/redir.asp?URL=http://www.essex.ac.uk/aesthesis>
If the web site doesn't answer all of your questions, then please contact our Project Coordinator, Jane Malabar at [log in to unmask]
Best wishes and Good Luck!
The Aesthesis//CREATE team
