Hi Sarah
I am not really clear as to why there is a need for this SSN to be separate
for SHCG?? Can all of these activities not be contained under the shcg
umbrella; I do worry about tunnel vision in some of these very particular
ssns - not to mention sustainability, - old fashioned, I am afraid!
Cheers
Christine

Thanks Patricia.
Can I clarify that the group is actually the Contemporary Collecting for
Urban Social History SSN, rather than the urban social history SSN.
Zelda has explained that urban social history was added to distinguish
it from the work the Rural Museums Network were doing when the SSN was
being established.
Thanks,
Sarah

Perhaps an understanding of what we mean by 'urban', implications for
collections and a
mapping of interests?
