Of course. the other side thinks the same way, & I actually do believe
'they' are as 'sincere' in their commitment to their poetics as 'we'
are to ours.
It does point to the fact that, even if poetry is almost invisible in
the 'real' world, it is nevertheless such a huge pond that no one in
it can actually know all of it, & so those who pay attention to, say,
Jacket, may not ever read some other mags (I was going to say Poetry,
but I guess I really mean a whole bunch I just dont know).
We pay attention to what counts for us....
