Alan Crosby (local historian and author), Christine Bradley (Local History Librarian), Diana Winterbotham (former Local History Librarian with over 30 years experience), Jacqui Crosby (Deputy County Archivist, Lancashire Record Office).
Subjects covered will include local and family history as it is practised today, basic enquiry techniques, maps from Gough to OS, the nature of archive and manuscript collections and a tour behind the scenes at the record office.
The AGM of the CILIP Local Studies Group, North West Branch, will take place during the lunch break.
