Dear Staff Development Forum Colleagues,
We have extended the deadline for applications to our ILM Level 5
Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring in Management course beginning this
September.
The content of the programme is tailored to meet the specific needs of the
Higher Education sector. The programme team has years of experience of
coaching within Higher Education and the public and private sectors.
Face-to-face workshops and coaching practice sets will be held in central
London and the programme will be supported by online learning using the
Goldsmiths learn.gold virtual learning environment. Previous participants
have gained a lot from working with colleagues from different institutions.
The first workshop will take place on Tuesday 22 September in central
London.
The objective of the Level 5 Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring in
Management is to build a cohort of line managers and staff development
practitioners in Higher Education who will:
Become active coaches within their own institution
Become effective champions of internal coaching and mentoring programmes
Help develop other internal coaches
Participate in and develop ongoing coaching practice sets with colleagues
in other institutions
Improve their understanding of how to commission and evaluate the work of
external coaches.
