Hello
What courses are available in the UK or online on the theory and practice of online science communication?
I'm interested in a short or part-time course or other form of professional development that would help me develop my practical and theoretical interests and skills in online sci comm delivery - eg, looking at what science communication will be like in future, the impact of new technologies, how audiences are changing etc.
I think I'm fairly up to date on new online tech, so it would need to be a step beyond an intro to Twitter.
I'm aware of the Open University course Communicating science in the information age:
http://www3.open.ac.uk/courses/bin/p12.dll?C01SH804
and an Institute of Education Masters course in MA Knowledge And Interaction In Online Environments: http://www.ioe.ac.uk/study/masters/PMM9_KIO9IM.html
I'd be interested to hear about any others, and any recommendations or other feedback (especially if you've done a course and found it not useful).
Thanks
Scott
