Enfants du Paradis, elegant and cynical, who announces to Garance that
long ago he declared war on humanity. He refuses to leave the Turkish
bath in Paris where he's just murdered Garance's noble protector because
he doesn't want a provincial executioner to be the one to guillotine
him. When only the best will do, I suppose....
