"She's not just quiet.she's dead"
The Space on the Mile @ Jury's Inn, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, August 2009

Murder! And the vegetarian librarian is framed. Oh, and she still hasn't fed
the kids. Blending stand-up and storytelling for her first solo show, Tracy
Crisp has created a witty comic mystery. Libraries as you've never seen them
before, with stops along the way to contemplate life and death and the bits
in between.

Tracy Crisp started writing and performing stand-up comedy at age 37. Within
months, she was a national finalist in the Melbourne International Comedy
Festival's Raw Comedy Competition. She was a member of the "Titters! A
Showcase of Award-Winning Women" cast in the Adelaide Fringe Festival 2008
and 2009. Her other appearances include a spot in Amnesty International
Australia's Stand Up For Your Rights Gala in 2007.

A versatile and wide-ranging writer, Tracy's first novel Black Dust Dancing
was released in March 2009. Her short story 'The Plumber' was included in
The Best Australian Stories 2007 anthology. She has also published essays,
short stories and stories for children. She divides her time between Abu
Dhabi and Adelaide, Australia

"Tracy Crisp is a librarian - and she has children. Somehow, this becomes
desperately funny. You have to be there." Samela Harris, The Advertiser,
Adelaide
