Hi,
We have never had an EPI template and strongly recommend against
registration using such a template. The reason is that an individual
EPI
scan has poor resolution, contrast and contains distortions, and so it
is
very difficult to correctly drive a 12 DOF or non-linear registration
from
such an image. Instead it is much better to drive a 6 DOF registration
of the EPI to a structural scan of that individual and then register the
structural scan to the standard MNI template with 12 DOF or non-linear
registration. So this is what we recommend that you do.
All the best,
Mark
