Hi there,
I have a Lenova ThinkStation D10 with multiple quad cores.
I have noticed that it takes ages to run probtrackx from command-line (or in
batch), yet the GUIs speed through the
Our IT guy showed me that the probtrackx script seems to be utilizing only
one of the processors.
Looking through the SGE portion of the FSL site, two things:
1) It seems like the probtrackx GUI "self-submits", while the script
apparently does not. Could this be the reason why their running times are
so different?
2) If I want to run batched command-lines, would I simply add "fsl_sub"
before each "probtrackx" in the command line? (Conversely, if my batch was
named "tracking.bat", would I simply run "fsl_sub tracking.bat"?) Is there
any additional configuration required to get this going?
Thanks,
Conrad
