Hi,
maybe you know how to work around this, but in my experience Xgrid
runs everything under user 'nobody', and you can't access any data in
the node's hard disk (for security). The only way of passing data to
the jobs is to send it with the along with the job submission, which
makes a copy of the data you are passing to the 'tmp' directory of the
node... then, you'll have to send a bunch of MByte on calling the job,
and then get another bunch on MByte from the output.... annoying.
