Dear Colleagues,
I am in the process of identifying plant remains from a cave from the Ancient Egyptian
Harbor Mersa Wadi Gawasis on the Red Sea, dated to ca. 2000 BC.
Some of you might remember the photos of the plant remains that I have shown you in
Krakow. Then, few of you suggested that I send you photos again when you have access to
reference collections.
Could you please help me with identifying following specimens?
1) Plant brushes of a monocotyledon plant (does not look like reed or pyprus) 1 photo- cm
ruler
2) A half of a nut (?) gnawed by a rodent 2 photos- scale mm paper behind
3) Unk. brackets of seeds? - scale mm paper behind 1 photo
Thanks in advance for you help.
Regards,
Ksenija
