But do not disprize Keith Michell's incredible performance as Henry back
around 1970: his progress from a "strapping youth" to an ulcerous
repellent (even to himself) old man. As for that Jonathan Rhys Myers,
the less said the better about a series which makes the characters look
as they they're all clubbing in SoHo.
My personal fascinators were and remain Thomas Cromwell and Thomas Cranmer.
