I only hovered enough to write down the kind admonition. No operational evidence whatsoever of quiet or noisy gate abuse. My pen squeaked a bit while touching down on my open journal which rested on the speckled marble plinth. Otherwise the binding covers opened and closed quietly, To my knowledge no words were disturbed or tossed out of position. We walked on beyond the gate. There is nothing quite like the weightless quiet of the written word.
Hope that answers it, Hal.
