I have done an fMRI study using a Siemens scanner and have imported the DICOM data into SPM8 using the DICOM import option. The study included two functional sessions for each participant and the DICOM data includes two functional image sequences for each of these, one named 'act_MoCoSeries' and the other named 'fMRI condition n +30degree'. I gather that act_MoCoSeries contains a motion corrected version of the original images.
The problem I have is that the Nifti version of the images created by the DICOM import option doesn't seem to have retained the series names (or at least I'm not sure how to view these in SPM) and so I'm not sure which images are the unprocessed ones and which are the motion corrected ones. The Nifti file names are f000108-0011-00001-000001-01.img to f000108-0011-00420-000420-01.img and f000108-0012-00001-000001-01.img to f000108-0012-00420-000420-01.img for the first session and f000108-0014-00001-000001-01.img to f000108-0014-00500-000500-01.img and f000108-0015-00001-000001-01.img to f000108-0015-00500-000500-01.img for the second session.
I imagine that the 0011, 0012, 0014 and 0015 will tell me which files are which but I can't find this documented anywhere.
