Hi
With all preparations going ahead for pandemic flu, I am seeking the opinion of
subcsribers re who will meet the cost of vaccinations if/when they become
available.
Whilst the government have secured the supply of vaccines
(http://www.inthenews.co.uk/news/health/autocodes/countries/mexico/swine-
flu-latest-uk-signs-pre-pandemic-vaccine-deal-$1295849.htm) I cannot see
that they have said they will meet the cost of them nor of administering them.
The cost of seasonal flu vaccination for employees, where it has been
nationally recommended (e.g. healthcare workers) has to be met by
employers. Am I being over cautious recommending my organisation makes
provision to pay for pandemic flu vaccinations?
Regards
Paddy
